  ...and welcome to ARSE!
At ARSE! we want to enforce our views on music onto you (through gig reviews, CD reviews or harassing you on the ARSE forum... We were going to break into your houses and leave post-it notes everywhere telling you what gigs to go to this month but, for some reason, we were advised against this.)

So what does ARSE! stand for? Alternative Rock-Like Sensory Entertainment!?? Alternative Ramblings Seduce Elephants!? Artists Reviewed, Sounds Excellent!? Or... on some days... Artists Reviewed, Sounds Evil!? All Rats Sing Excellently!? Or maybe... Albino Rhinos Sneak Elegantly!? Amazing Right-angled Snake Explodes!? Among Rocks Snails Evolve!? (it's true!) Antelope Rebel Seeks Extinction!? Maybe its Another Riddle Solved Eventually!?
The truth is... I don't know! It's a great word though!

The ARSE! team's original plan was to write a fanzine, but after much planning and not enough actual doing, this obviously didn't happen. So, what you have here is what we did come up with. This site is a place for us to ramble on about what we think of the music that's out there at the moment. We will soon have more CD and gig reviews than you've had hot dinners (this is providing you are more of a fan of cold snacks than a burn-your-bum-hole curry). We will try to update this site as often as possible, but we are lazy - so if you check here everyday and nothing much has happened, it's probably because we're all postwhoring on the ARSE forum... (If you have any questions or comments about anything on this site please leave us a message there).
If you found us due to a Paper Issue and wish to read the full versions of the articles included in that issue - please click here.
